Piezo electronic micromanipulators


  A reason for its popularity is ergonomics; the user-
  friendly operating knobs for all three axes are aligned
  in one plane so that ¡°blindfold¡± operation of the MM33
  is possible within the shortest of times.
  Moreover, the operating elements are not at the side,
  but at the back, so that other pieces of equipment can
  easily be installed next to it.

  The micromanipulator MD 4 is basically built
  the same as the MM 33, but it is equipped
  with a second tool holder.
  This additional tool holder cannot only be
  positioned in X- and Y- direction, independent
  from the micromanipulator, but may also be
  tilted and swiveled via two fine adjustment


  The micromanipulator MMJ has knobs for
  coarse and fine adjustment for X-, Y-, and Z-
  axes, as well as a mechanical joystick for X-
  and Y-axes that makes ¥ìm-range motion
  The Z-axis displacement (ratio 10:1)allows
  for precise positioning, as well as rapid tool



  The micromanipulator HS6 distinguishes itself by
  its exceptionally solid construction. It finds use
  where utmost precision is crucial.
  There is a manual version with three axes, as well
  as a one (upon special request only), two, or three
  axes motorized model with stepper motors.
  The excursion is 25 mm in all three axes.



 The micromanipulator DC 3K is made for motorized
 or manual movement in all three axes (X-, Y-, and
 Z-axis) which makes it a valuable tool for numerous
 intracellular applications.
 The manual part of the DC 3K is equivalent to the
 MM 33 with additional Z-axis-stop.
 The motorized action ensues by way of three fine
 positioning slides with built-in DC motors and
 micrometer spindle.

 The micromanipulators of the SM-series are equipped
 with stepper motors that in conjunction with the MCL
 control electronics makes smallest steps of down to
 0,01 ¥ìm possible.
 These minute single steps allow for vibration- and
 back-lash-free operation.
 The very compact construction of the SM 3.25 makes
 its mounting onto the stage plate of a microscope

 The piezo translator PM 20 is especially suitable for
 intracellular injection.
 Once the capillary is positioned at the cell,
 penetration, injection, and withdrawel are executed
 by pushing the start button.
 The PM 20 is conceived primarily for utilization with
 our micromanipulators MMJ or DC 3K.
 Their standard tool holders easily accept the PM 20.



 The piezo translator PM 10 is constructed for
 penetration of cell membranes within the area
 of electro physiological applications.
 The PM 10 can be adapted to the motorized X-axis
 of the DC 3K micromanipulator.
 The combination of a piezo translator and a motorized
 micromanipulator lets the advantages of both
 systems become accessible in one unit.
 Using a piezo translator allows for high-speed
 penetration within very short distances, while the
 motorized micromanipulator permits vibration-free
 movement over greater distances.



 The one-axis piezo manipulator PM 10-1 is a
 combination of a piezo translator and one-axis
 Similar to the PM 10, the PM 10-1 features
 the natural retraction of the piezo element into its
 resting position after a forward step by a
 compensating motion of the motorized manipulator.
