High Resolution and High Frame Rates

The benefits of the ProgRes CFscan are its high resolution and fast image acquisition. Image sizes of up to 4080x3072 pixels are captured using pixel shifting by means of Piezo technology. Thus capturing high resolution microscope images at low microscope magnification power is one of the ProgRes CFscan's strengths. If frame rate and fast image acquisition is a matter for you, the ProgRes CFscan offers capture rates of up to 51 fps.

Cooling and Gain
The ProgRes CFscan is actively cooled by Peltier and offers an analog gain up to a factor of 8x. Thus it produces best image quality also for specimens with very low light intensity.

Triggering
The ProgRes CFscan provides a trigger input and output and is thus able not only to receive but also to transmit information signals from or to peripheral devices for camera control.

Interfaces and Connectors
Using its C-Mount adaptor and the IEEE1394a Firewire interface the camera is easily attached to any microscope and any PC.

Software
The ProgRes Capture Basic software suite included with the camera makes camera control even for the unexperienced user straightforward and comfortable.

Easy to Integrate
The ProgRes CFscan can be integrated in third party image archiving and image analysis software by means of the included Capture Basic TWAIN PlugIn or the available Software Development Kit (SDK).
